And How Shall I Forget You

And how shall I forget you?

Your beauty blows on every breath of the wind.
It echoes in the canyons ways.
It is yelled off every mountaintop.
How shall I get away?

The blades of grass are its whispers.
The flowers tell your kiss.
The chirping is of your playful smiles
I cannot bear to miss.

And how shall I get away?

Your thoughts are my unspoken words.
Your hands direct my reason.
Your fingers hold all of my fears.
Your moods are all my seasons.
And how shall I get away?

For my dear, the stars are our memories.
The sky is our love.
Under its rule I live and die
Not by God’s above.

So how shall I forget you?
How shall I get away?
