I See Not Those Fuzzy Letters

I see not those fuzzy letters
Though you put the lenses to my eyes.
“Patience,” you say,
“There will be a lens
Through which you can read the line.”

But, Oh Lord,
You have passed
So many days upon these eyes,
And yet, I still have not seen you clearly.
