They Come And Go In The Winds Like Grains Of Sand
They come and go in the winds like grains of sand,
Friends, one after the other grasped and dropped from the hand.
Like pebbles and rocks once you collect
Valued once and then their value spent.
Like castles in the sand once destroyed
Inhaled into your breath to annoy
Your very life, your moment's beat,
To throw it off so that the song will cease.
It is true that girls are very clever
But to say she is my best of friends - never.
